- To specifically learn and understand the Chinese medical disease causes and mechanisms of both diseases
- To learn to treat GERD and IBS via acupuncture and Chinese medicinal treatment with pattern discrimination
- To learn about the most common, multi-pattern, clinical presentation of GERD and IBS, with Chinese medicinal formulas for treatment

What is G.E.R.D. and who does it affect? The Western medical diagnosis and treatment of GERD. The Chinese medical disease categorization and their causes. Chinese medical disease mechanisms and treatment based on pattern discriminnation. Effective medicinals and formulas for GERD.
1 hrs - 2 hrs
In this segmemnt of the course Bob Flaws presents the one core pattern in IBS and its most common complications. He then goes on to describe how to treat it using either acupuncture or Chinese herbs. In particular, Bob presents a formula which has proven itself to be extremely effective in the treatment of this condition. Bob also discusses diet and lifestyle modifications which can help in the overall treatment of this disorder.
