Course Objectives
- Be able to test and treat many different muscles that act on the cervical spine, shoulder girdle, shoulder joint, elbow, wrist and fingers.
- Understand specific acupuncture points that will have a direct affect on muscles that are painful and/or weak.
- The practitioner will learn different conditions for when to use manual muscle testing e.g. neck extensor for sacroiliac jount pain and dyfunction.
Course Outline
0 hrs - 30 min
The practitioner will learn and examine the myofascial stregth and neurological ability to create and sustain contration.
30 min - 1 hrs
The practitioner will learn MMT and Acupuncture for many different muscles that act on the cervical spine, shoulder girdle, shoulder joint, elbow, wrist and fingers.
1 hrs - 1.5 hrs
The practitioner will learn how different conditions can create muscle weakness and how to examine and test for these conditions. Acupuncture will also be visually presented.
