Course Overview

This is a Live Webinar event that will be held on November 5, 2026 - 1am GMT, 2am CET, 3am IST. This webinar is designed to support the practitioner in managing the shoulder pain patient. We frequently see shoulder pain in the clinic, and pain referral patterns may lead us to treating the incorrect points. Let's take a look at a few ways to make these cases a success. (1) Pain due to the supraspinatous muscle tendon unit. Assessment of the supraspinatous muscle and tendon. Consideration of shoulder impingement, and other related pain referral patterns. Location and treatment of the essential points. Possible therapeutic exercises and self-care. (2) Pain due to the infraspinatous muscle. Assessment of the infraspinatous muscle and tendon, while avoiding pain referral patterns. Location and treatment of the essential points. Possible therapeutic exercises and self-care. (3) Pain due to the rhomboid minor muscle. Assessment of the rhomboid minor muscle with consideration of the tendon as it attaches to the scapula. Includes postural imbalances as seen with retraction/protraction dysfunction. Location and treatment of the essential points. Possible therapeutic exercises and self-care. (4) The acromial-clavicular joint (AC joint). Location and treatment of the essential points. Possible therapeutic exercises and self-care. (5) Contributions from the levator scapulae muscle. Complications from the attachments to the cervical spine resulting in neck pain and dysfunction. Location and treatment of the essential points. Possible therapeutic exercise and self-care. The recordings will be made available for you to review after the event!
