- Utilize 9 Star Ki for personalized treatment plans: Develop skills to create individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on 9 Star Ki insights, improving patient outcomes through tailored approaches.

Introduction (who is Dr Natalie, why I created this course).
15 min - 1 hrs
Module 1: overview of eastern philosophy (history, background, origins, review of elements, cosmology, astrology, feng shui) We will cover foundational TCM principles, such as the Five Elements theory and Yin-Yang duality, which are crucial for understanding energy dynamics in acupuncture. The module will also touch on cosmology and astrology as they relate to Chinese medicine.

Module 2: Birth Star (core identity, ego, character) We will discuss how the Birth Star influences one's constitution in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and can indicate potential areas of strength or imbalance. We will explore how this aspect of one's energy impacts the flow of Qi, the vital life force, and how acupuncture can be used to support a balanced expression of one's core nature.
2 hrs - 3 hrs
Module 3: Inner Star (emotions, instincts, nurturing) We will discuss the role of the Inner Star in shaping emotional health, as understood in TCM, including its impact on the organs associated with particular emotions (e.g., Liver with anger, Heart with joy). Practical applications, such as how specific acupuncture points and herbal remedies can support emotional balance and nurturing capacities, will also be covered.

Module 4: Outer Star (self-image, destiny, approach to life) We will discuss the concept of destiny in Eastern philosophy, and how this aligns with the TCM perspective on the flow of Qi and meridian pathways. The module will also cover techniques in acupuncture that support life direction and self-image, addressing common energetic blockages that can manifest as life challenges.

Module 5: Personal Yearly Predictions (topics, themes, universal influences, life lessons) We will discuss how different elemental influences and cycles can impact one’s health and energy flow from an acupuncture perspective. The importance of harmonizing with these cycles through seasonal acupuncture treatments, dietary adjustments, and lifestyle changes will be emphasized to maintain balance throughout the year.
5 hrs - 6.5 hrs
Module 6: Interpersonal Relationships (how we communicate, connect, and interact with others) will discuss how different elemental types communicate and interact with one another, including the role of the Five Elements in relationship compatibility. Participants will learn how TCM healing modalities can be used to enhance communication, resolve energetic conflicts, and improve connection in relationships.
6.5 hrs - 8 hrs
Module 7: Integration (putting it all together & Questions) This session will include case studies, examples of treatment plans using acupuncture and Oriental medicine, and Q&A for personalized insights. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how to apply Eastern philosophy to foster greater health, balance, and self-awareness.
