- Identify which hexagram is associated with each channel.
- Identify which trigrams are associated with the appropriate Five Phase / Element.
- Select and construct a Five Phase / Element hexagram.
- Recognize cases which are applicable to using the I-Ching Five Phases Balance approach.
- Explain how to convert a channel’s hexagram to a Five Phases hexagram.

Module 1 - Introduction and origins of Balance System Acupuncture and Wu Xing Theory.
30 min - 1 hrs
Module 2 - Describe the relationship of Wu Xing to Yi Jing hexagrams and discern the reasons to use Wu Xing Yi Jing balancing treatments.
1 hrs - 1.5 hrs
Module 3 - Appraising Guas and constructing Water Wu Xing Yi Jing balance.
1.5 hrs - 1.75 hrs
Module 4 - Review, appraising Guas and constructing Fire Wu Xing Yi Jing balance.
1.75 hrs - 2 hrs
Module 5 - Describing a Ke and applying the Tong Guan approach.
2 hrs - 2.25 hrs
Module 6 - Assessing the flow of decisions + summary.
