This course is part three of a 15-part series that will empower the participant to have a complete re-understanding of the cardiovascular system. Cardiovascular disease is (unnecessarily) the #1 cause of death in the USA. Part three will provide the causes of blood stasis and its role in cardiovascular disease. Including the methodologies and principles utilized to prevent cardiovascular disease. Part three will include: (1) Identifying blood stasis through TCM methodologies. (2) Identifying blood stasis through medical lab testing. (3) Specific herbal formulas. (4) Supplements and treatment modalities to prevent and correct blood stasis.

Causes of blood stasis from an environmental perspective. Identifying platelet aggregation and poor blood flow (blood stasis) as the primary proximal cause of cardiovascular disease and death.
45 min - 1 hrs
Discuss the methodologies and principles utilized to prevent cardiovascular disease. Examine herbal formulas, supplements and lifestyle to correct and prevent blood stasis.
