Course Overview

Acupuncture saved my life! I have absolutely no doubts. My schooling was rough. I went to 9 different schools in 13 years. I didn’t make friends. I was bullied, verbally and physically. I was punched, strangled, knocked out. I was told regularly that I should just kill myself. During this time, I received acupuncture (when we could afford it) for my mental health. It was the one thing that always made a difference. So much so, that when I graduated from secondary school, I went and studied Chinese medicine. And I received acupuncture almost every single week at the out-patient acupuncture clinic on campus. After I graduated at the end of 1996, I spent 10 years treating anything and everything. But it wasn't until my Masters degree thesis that I focused almost exclusively on the research and treatment of mental and emotional disorders. And do you know what I found? Not much! As a result, I have spent the better part of the last 20 years learning as much as I could about mental and emotional imbalances. I scrolled textbooks (ancient and modern), reliable internet sources, and read research papers. I attended conferences/workshops in Australia, and internationally. I even started a PhD on the topic. All so that I could help myself, and others, feel better in themselves. This workshop is part of the findings of that research. Apart from your patients, you may find this workshop useful to understand the emotional imbalances of friends and family. Perhaps even yourself?
